Contemporary Forum’s Annual Dinner and Art Auction, held in February of each year, is our major fund-raiser. Funds raised at this event are used to purchase significant works of art for Phoenix Art Museum. The event is held in the Great Hall of the Museum and is attended by 400+ people. About 70 works of art, created in part by some local artists, are auctioned - by a professional auctioneer - in both live and silent auctions. Over $400,000 is raised at this event. Over the years, Contemporary Forum has purchased over $2,000,000 worth of art for the Museum.

Contemporary Forum is proud to introduce our new collaboration with the business community which was launched at our "Building A Collection" Art Auction & Dinner on February 16, 2008. 20 "Partners with the Arts" sponsored the event dinner this year, and their generous support clearly demonstrates the important relationship between business and the arts. We are honored to have such a distinguished and diverse group of business leaders join us, and we encourage all of our members to acknowledge and support these companies. We are committed to building our modern and contemporary collection for the Ellen and Howard C. Katz Wing at Phoenix Art Museum and recognize the important role the Arizona business community has in achieving this endeavour.
