Contemporary Forum is planning a one-day excursion to Los Angeles to enjoy the newly reopened Getty Villa featuring a morning tour of the facility, time for individual exploring and lunch on the Villa's magnificent grounds.  the trip will also include a visit to Los Angeles County Museum of Art where the group will be given a docent tour of Vanity Fair Portraits: Photographs 1913-2008.  There will be ample time for individual exploration of the new Broad Contemporary Art Museum at LACMA, their permanent collection or other special exhibitions available in October.  All trip participants must be current members of Contemporary Forum and Phoenix Art Museum.


The Travel Committee arranges educational contemporary art-related trips for Contemporary Forum members, both domestic and international.  Travelers visit art fairs, museums, galleries, private art collections and artists’ studios.  Many of these venues would not be available to them individually. 

Over the past several years, Contemporary Forum has traveled to Art Basel Miami Beach, New York to view the Christo Gates, Minneapolis, Seattle, Los Angeles, Marfa/Houston, Chicago, Sonoma, New Orleans, Dallas and Seattle.   In addition, CF has provided international trips to Italy, Berlin and London.
